Dawn L. Davis
Dawn L. Davis is a proud native Nevadan. After leaving Reno where she grew up, Ms. Davis attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on an academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in Spanish. While completing her undergraduate degree at UNLV, Ms. Davis was also a staff writer for UNLV’s campus newspaper, The Rebel Yell.
After college, Ms. Davis attended law school on an academic scholarship at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2013. She also graduated with an MBA from UNLV’s Lee Business School in 2013. During her post-graduate study, Ms. Davis served as a graduate teaching assistant at UNLV’s College of Business, teaching Human Resources Management. During law school, Ms. Davis also served as an extern for the Office of General Counsel at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and as a Corporate Summer Intern in the Legal Affairs Department at Southwest Gas Corporation.
Since her admission to the Nevada Bar in 2014, Ms. Davis’ practice has focused on insurance defense, personal injury, insurance coverage, contracts, products liability, and appellate work. She has handled all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-litigation strategy to trial to appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court. Ms. Davis is also experienced with alternative dispute resolution, from court-annexed arbitration hearings to private mediations to Nevada Supreme Court settlement conferences. She represents a wide range of clients, from individuals to local, regional, and national business entities. Recently, Ms. Davis was selected to the Super Lawyers 2017 Mountain States Rising Stars list. She also serves as a pro bono attorney for Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Children’s Attorneys Project.
